We are now producing a local talent radio show on KGHP  
         that will be aired  on Sunday at  5:00 and Tuesday at 9:00. 
         Local  talent performing in our shop and then broadcast on 
         KGHP 89.3 104.5 or 89.9.
        

 

                                                                                                     

   Last year I re-connected with Meridian Green, an old friend and a singer songwriter from Mendocino Ca. daughter of  Bob Gibson and long time partner of Gene Parsons (Byrds, Flying Burrito Bros. ect)
      Meridian was about to head out on a solo tour of the U.S. +?  We were very fortunate to have the first show of  the tour.  Thanks to Andy Rebsamen and Wayne &  Dee Knight who's home became the perfect venue for a house concert here in Lakebay.  The sun was out, the view of  the Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier was perfect.  Add to that fresh Northwest oysters, clams, baked Brie, numerous salads and deserts (what a feast).  The music was a wonderful mix of joy, sorrow,  fun, and serious .

      I still hear from friends who saw the show.  They tell me how glad they were to be there, and asking when the next house concert will be.

       We all thank Meridian and look forward to her next visit.  Check out  her web site for her schedule.   I recommend you try and book her for a house concert in your town.  I also recommend you check out her CD's.   Thanks again Meridian.  It was definitely a special space in time.
