Well things went pretty smooth heading out a about 8:00 Sat. morning and all of the rigs were there at the start. I am writing this though after getting the first good 5 hours of sleep since we left. To make a long story short....The big engine quit twice at re-fueling stops and took a bit to get started, we actually headed out without it at one point leaving it and another vehicle behind, they eventually got it running and caught up. Then an ambulance broke down out of Sacramento ,after a series of mishaps and a lot of hard work it was back on the road and we hope to see it this morning....there's more but it will wait. Bottom line is it's 6:00 Mon. morning and we are headed out to the parking lot here in tucson to make sure all are here, all are running, and have a meeting before heading out on the hour drive to the border and the 3-4 hour wait while the paperwork is done. Hopefully I'll be writing from Mazatlan later tonight or tomorrow morning.............................
