Jan Peterson Ewen
|
Jan is the founder and Artistic Director of Western Washington Center for the Arts in Port Orchard. She has directed over 60 musical theater productions and worked as an Equity actress for 8 years in Los Angeles. Jan has been a professional singer and taught voice lessons for over 35 years for all levels and ages. She has received her vocal training from Bill and Irene Chapman in L.A. as well as numerous vocal coaches such as the legendary Harper MacKay. Jan has extensive training in both classical music and musical theater.
Jan's positve approach to vocal instruction features the development of the natural singing voice, wiith emphasis on the health and strength of each individaul's unique instrument.

Kimberly Gunn
|
Kimberly Gunn recently moved to Tacoma, WA from Fresno, CA. She began studying the piano at age 7. She is certified as a YAMAHA music educator and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance from California State University, Fresno. Kimberly's been a member of the Music Teachers Association of California for the past 10 years and chairperson for the MTAC Piano Competition for 5 years. She has 15 years experience in private and group piano instruction. It is her joy/passion in life to guide/mentor students of all ages (4+) through their discovery and love of music in a fun, creative, and imaginative environment. |
